“Once upon a time” isn’t just a fairy tale beginning. It describes the history of this building. Once upon a time there was a “Maison du Séminaire”. Today we stand before the Saint Paul Hotel.

The Saint Paul Hotel has a rich history. In the 19th century, an old bishop from Nice decided to build a seminary here. It would train future priests. Construction finished around 1843. The seminary included a large building called Maison du Séminaire. A smaller building stood to its west.

Between 1880 and 1881, a new building was added. It was west of the property to house students. An extension was also added north of the main building. Construction of the chapel began at the same time. The exterior was done by 1881. Work inside continued until its consecration in 1891.

Around 1885, the smaller building next to the main one was raised. It became as tall as the main building. Around 1891-1892, a dormitory was added east of the chapel. This is now the diocesan library.

In 1929, the seminary underwent another transformation. Architects Febvre and Deporta led the project. The building was renamed “Le Saint-Paul”.

Now, the Saint Paul is a hotel. It features 67 rooms. It also has a restaurant. Meeting and conference rooms are available.

The Saint Paul Hotel stands facing the Mediterranean. You only need to cross the street to swim in the sea. This location combines calm with access to Nice’s heart. You can even walk there.

The Saint Paul Hotel also holds hidden treasures. A small colorful patio sits behind the building’s imposing facade. It is a cozy nest with a trickling fountain.

Le Saint Paul blends history and modernity. It provides an ideal setting for company events. The hotel restaurant has large windows. These offer a peaceful atmosphere. They also provide a panoramic view of the sea. This makes it perfect for inspiring seminars. It is also suited for memorable company parties.

The hotel bar is elegant and welcoming. It’s an ideal place for professional meetings. It also provides relaxation after work. Attentive service and modern facilities ensure successful meetings. Workshops and conferences are held here. Le Saint Paul is more than a meeting place. It enriches events with character and friendliness.

Choose Le Saint Paul for your next corporate event. It values heritage and authenticity. The hotel’s unique atmosphere is combined with custom services. Each seminar or party will meet your expectations. Enjoy the timeless charm of the Saint Paul. Offer your colleagues an unforgettable experience. Several rooms are available for your events. The Chagall room is 60 square meters. The Bréa room is 200 square meters. The Matisse room measures 100 square meters.

The Saint Paul has come a long way. From seminary to hotel, it continues to welcome guests. Its history and charm make it a special place in Nice.
