What if I told you a young boy from Denver played a key role in the heartwarming sitcom, Fuller House? Elias Harger, a Denver native, brought the character of Max Fuller to life. Fuller House, the Netflix reboot of the beloved Full House, premiered in 2016. The series followed D.J. Tanner-Fuller, a veterinarian and widowed mother of three, as she navigated life with her sons Jackson, Max, and Tommy Jr. Elias, despite his young age, landed the role of Max after a unique casting journey. Initially deemed “too loud,” he eventually won over the directors with his energy and comedic timing. Max, much like his Aunt Stephanie in the original series, added a spark of wit and humor to the Fuller House dynamic. Off-screen, Elias balanced his acting career with a normal Colorado life, skiing at Arapahoe Basin and pursuing other acting opportunities. While the show concluded in 2020, Elias’s portrayal of Max remains a cherished part of the Fuller House legacy.
