Bridge Playground gets its name from two famous bridges. The Washington Bridge is close by. So is the Alexander Hamilton Bridge. Both bridges cross the river. They connect Manhattan to the Bronx.
The adjacent Washington Bridge and the Alexander Hamilton Bridge cross the river a short distance to the west.
