Sekolah Kebangsaan Bukit Jalil: A story unfolds. In 2002, amidst the burgeoning cityscape of Kuala Lumpur, Sekolah Kebangsaan Bukit Jalil opened its doors. Led by Puan Juriah Binti Jupri, the school welcomed 112 students from Year 1 to Year 5. The school’s location, nestled within the Bukit Jalil Golf Resort at Jalan 3/155A, offered a unique blend of urban convenience and serene greenery. Sekolah Kebangsaan Bukit Jalil quickly became a cornerstone of the community. The Parent-Teacher Association (PIBG), formed in April 2002 with Dr. Abdullah bin Taib as its first chairman, further strengthened the school’s bond with the local residents. In 2003, the school expanded to include Year 6 students, marking a significant step in its growth. Today, Sekolah Kebangsaan Bukit Jalil thrives with a vibrant student body of over 1,340 students. From pre-school to Year 6, these young minds are nurtured by a dedicated team of 85 teachers and 7 administrative staff. The school’s commitment to holistic development extends beyond academics. Numerous clubs and societies offer students opportunities to explore their talents and interests. Values of respect, cooperation, and responsibility are woven into the fabric of the school’s culture. Sekolah Kebangsaan Bukit Jalil, known also as SK Bukit Jalil, continues to flourish under the Ministry of Education’s guidance. The school code, WBA0083, represents more than just an identifier. It symbolizes a legacy of quality education and community engagement. The school operates on a two-session system. From Monday to Thursday, the school day runs from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm and then from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm. On Fridays, the schedule adjusts to 8:00 am to 12:15 pm and 2:45 am to 5:00 pm. This allows for a balance of learning and extracurricular activities. Sekolah Kebangsaan Bukit Jalil stands as a testament to the power of education and community partnership. It is a place where young minds are shaped, futures are built, and the spirit of Malaysia thrives.
