This marked a transition towards greater autonomy and focused development. Ablekuma West Municipal District is bordered by a mix of urban and natural landscapes. To the north lies Ablekuma North Municipal, while to the east, the familiar landmarks of Accra Metropolitan stand tall. Westward, the Weija Gbawe Municipal stretches out, and to the south, the Gulf of Guinea whispers tales of the sea. Covering approximately 15.01 square kilometers, Ablekuma West is home to around 25 settlements. Its population, exceeding 200,000, creates a dynamic mix of cultures and experiences.
