The church wasn’t always known as Dennistoun New Parish Church. In 2007, Dennistoun Blackfriars Church united with Dennistoun Central Church. They formed the new parish. The building was formally Dennistoun Central Church.
Step inside Dennistoun New Parish Church. You will discover a welcoming space. The sanctuary features a Father Willis organ. Soft modern seats replaced the pews four years ago. A screen displays hymns. It all blends seamlessly.
Imagine the sounds that have filled this space. Prayers. Hymns. Sermons. The church bell rang for the first time in 1874. It called the parish to worship. It reminded everyone of God’s presence.

The building underwent a building project some years ago. An elevator was installed. It helps the elderly and disabled. It provides access to all levels.
Rt Rev Dr Shaw Paterson visited Dennistoun New Parish Church in 2024. He celebrated its 150th anniversary. He spoke of building together as God’s children. He encouraged the congregation to care for everyone.
