From humble beginnings in a living room in 2005 Belmont Community Church of God blossomed. A small group gathered united by their devotion to Jesus Christ. Their powerful songs and messages left an indelible mark. This is Belmont Community Church of God.
The church quickly outgrew its humble beginnings. A move to a garage across town highlighted its growing influence. Sixteen charter members guided the church. They elected their first pastor and assistant pastor. They even chose the name Belmont Community Church before securing a building. Founding Pastor Bro Gary Lambert led the way.
A shared mission fueled their growth. They sought to provide a space for worship and salvation. They also aimed to see families find salvation. They restored a fire-damaged building on Belmont Avenue a testament to their dedication. This is Belmont Community Church of God.
Pastor Lambert’s legacy continued even after his transition in 2016. Youth Pastor Hank Webb stepped up as Lead Pastor. Ministries flourished. The twin goals of worship and community impact remained central. This is Belmont Community Church of God.
By 2020 Belmont Community Church of God needed more space. Overflowing services necessitated expansion. A capital building campaign was launched. Then an incredible opportunity arose a 7000 square foot sanctuary on nine acres with a pond. This was seen as divine intervention. In 2022 they embraced this chance for growth. The original Belmont Avenue location remained.
Today Belmont Community Church of God stands as a beacon of faith. From a living room to a multi-location church its mission remains unchanged. The church shares the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It’s a story of worship growth and community salvation. It is a powerful story of faith resilience and God’s grace. This is Belmont Community Church of God.
