Felician University, a private Catholic institution, stands as a testament to the enduring legacy of the Felician Sisters. Originally established in 1923 as the Immaculate Conception Normal School, Felician University has undergone several transformations. Its name evolved from Immaculate Conception Junior College to Felician College, finally becoming Felician University in 2015. The university is located a mere 12 miles from the vibrant energy of New York City. The Lodi campus, one of two in Bergen County, New Jersey, offers a tranquil setting for academic pursuits. In 2015, the university faced scrutiny when the American Association of University Professors (AAUP) censured Felician College for terminating faculty members without due process.
