“A second chance.” Those words echoed in Dr. Ramirez’s mind as he looked at Kindred Hospital Houston Medical Center. This innovative therapy, sometimes referred to as Continuous Hemofiltration, gently cleansed her blood, giving her body time to heal. Kindred also offered other dialysis options, like Peritoneal Dialysis, Hemodialysis, and SLED. The interdisciplinary care team, led by skilled physicians, carefully selected the best therapy for each patient’s unique needs. Mrs. Johnson’s recovery at Kindred was a testament to their commitment to compassionate care. Kindred Hospital Houston Medical Center’s 116 beds, including a nine-bed ICU and six negative-pressure rooms, provided a haven for patients requiring extended care. They offered 24-hour clinical care, seven days a week. The hospital also held certifications from The Joint Commission in Sepsis and Respiratory Failure, further highlighting their dedication to high-quality care. Dr. Ramirez smiled, knowing that places like Kindred gave patients a fighting chance. A second chance at life.
