Within the heart of Brooklyn, The Temple of Restoration stands as a beacon of hope and spiritual renewal. The Temple of Restoration isn’t just a building. It’s a vibrant hub where lives are transformed daily. The Temple of Restoration began its journey in November 2000. Starting with a small group, the congregation has blossomed into a thriving community of thousands. Their motto, “Where Jesus is Changing Lives Everyday,” speaks volumes about their mission. The Temple of Restoration extends its reach globally, with locations in New York, New Jersey, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and even internationally in Brazil, South Africa, Lesotho, Trinidad & Tobago, and the Cape Verde Islands. The church’s vision, as shared by Bishop Angelo Barbosa and Pastor Elizabeth Barbosa, is to spread the Good News worldwide. They follow the commandment from Mark 16:15: “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creatures.” Every Sunday, you can join their services live-streamed on Facebook, YouTube, and their website. Pastor Elizabeth Barbosa leads the service at 7:30 am, followed by Bishop Angelo Barbosa at 10 am. The Temple of Restoration also serves the community through a food pantry. They offer free groceries, sometimes diapers, and are always looking for volunteers to help their mission. If you need assistance, remember to bring your ID and register on-site. They are open throughout the week, with varying hours. You can visit once a week. They are closed on major holidays. Beyond spiritual guidance, The Temple of Restoration believes in holistic care. Their daily schedule includes dedicated prayer for every aspect of life. They hold services focusing on financial restoration on Mondays, health restoration on Tuesdays, Bible studies on Wednesdays, family restoration on Thursdays, and deliverance on Fridays. These services are held at 10 am, 12 pm, 4 pm, and 7 pm. On Sundays, worship and praise fill the air at 7:30 am, 10 am, 3 pm, and 6 pm. For those needing immediate support, a 24-hour prayer line offers comfort and guidance. Through street evangelism, hospital visits, a TV ministry, and the “Voice of Restoration” magazine, The Temple of Restoration actively shares their message of hope. The Temple of Restoration is more than just a church. It’s a testament to the power of faith and community in action.
