Arche Alstertal is a free church in Hamburg-Sasel. Here everyone is welcome. It doesn’t matter your background. It doesn’t matter where you come from. It doesn’t matter where you stand with God.
The Christengemeinde Arche Alstertal is part of the Bund Freikirchlicher Pfingstgemeinden KdöR (BFP). It is also part of “Gemeinsam für Hamburg” and the Evangelischen Allianz. Arche Alstertal is deeply connected in Hamburg.
Let’s step inside and explore what makes this place special. On Sundays, Arche Alstertal holds services. These services include lively worship and strong sermons. Translation in Farsi is available.
There is a program for children adapted to different age groups. Care is provided for children from three years. Parents with children between 0-3 years can use their own rooms. These rooms have toys. Parents can see the service and hear the broadcast.
After the service, you are welcome to the Gemeindecafé downstairs. Hot drinks and pastries await you there. Open ears and hearts are ready for you. Whether you want a conversation, prayer or a game of kicker, someone is there for you.
But community doesn’t stop on Sunday. Discover the groups, events and offers for real community life before and after the service. Arche Alstertal wants to connect people.
During the week, people come together in living rooms. They meet for walks or at the Alster river. They are there for each other. They share life. Small groups are the heart of this community.
Every second Saturday there is Youth Night for everyone from 12 years. Every Thursday they meet in small groups. Special events and leisure activities also take place. The youth is very important to Arche Alstertal.
On Fridays from 5 pm, the Royal Rangers meet. This is for girls and boys between 6 and 18 years. Arche Alstertal offers something for every age group.
There is “Konfi” for teens from 12 years. In the two-year program, they discuss topics. These topics concern the life of a teenager. The program helps with identity formation. They also deal with questions of faith and the Bible.
Arche Alstertal supports the Alstertaler Gabentisch. This is a aid project for people in need in the Hamburg Alstertal. Helping others is a core value.

Every two weeks on Saturdays at 6 pm, the entire youth comes together for Youth Nights. They focus on God in worship. They listen to his word. They end the evening with a relaxed cafe atmosphere.
