Takayamadai Elementary School initially kept its name and identity. However things changed. The students continued their education at the new complex. Later in 2023 the percentage of middle school students from the school who moved to Senri Takemifune Middle School exceeded 10%. The shift resulted from a decline in enrollment at Senri Takemifune Middle School.
