Tucked between modern houses, the Seiiesu-kai Hosana Church holds a unique story. It all began in May 1981 in Shimamoto, Osaka. The congregation initially met in temporary locations. Then in May 1987, this very church building was completed. The Seiiesu-kai Hosana Church embraces the Bible as the inspired word of God. They are a Protestant church, specifically aligned with the Christian denomination known as the “Holy Jesus Society”. “Hosana” itself has a special meaning. It echoes the joyous cries that greeted Jesus as he entered Jerusalem. The word means, “Save us now!”. The church emphasizes the importance of this message. They strive to create a space where people can find and experience this salvation. The members of Seiiesu-kai Hosana Church share a deep reverence for the divine name. They express this through worship and song. They aim to live according to biblical teachings, guided by faith. The church welcomes all who seek spiritual guidance and community. Inside, the sanctuary creates an atmosphere of peace and reflection. Stained-glass windows softly illuminate the space. The centerpiece is a wooden cross. Behind it, stones from the holy land of Jerusalem form a unique backdrop. The church embodies a message of love and hope, inviting all to experience the grace of God.
