LIFEhouse Church

Stepping back in time, imagine 1922. Two distinct faith communities, LIFEhouse Church and The House LA, existed separately in Los Angeles. LIFEhouse Church, with its rich 105-year history, stood as a beacon of faith. Pastor Wes Dunn’s father even began his faith journey within its walls. Meanwhile, The House LA, a younger community founded by Pastor Dunn and his wife, focused on helping people find a sense of belonging. Fast forward to September 25, 2022. These two communities merged, uniting under the name LIFEhouse Church at 18355 Roscoe Blvd in Northridge. This union wasn’t just about merging congregations. It was about creating a vibrant space where faith could flourish. A place where people could connect with God and embark on their own spiritual journeys. The merger initiated a period of rebuilding and renewal at LIFEhouse Church. Phase one of this transformation focused on essential upgrades to the building. This included improvements to the sanctuary’s AC and heating system. Plumbing renovations were undertaken in both the adult and children’s bathrooms. New flooring was installed in the kids’ classrooms. These renovations, part of a larger $400,000 fundraising goal, aimed to create a more welcoming and comfortable environment for the growing community. Today, LIFEhouse Church offers a range of programs for all ages. Weekend services include worship, prayer, and Bible-based preaching. For families, LIFEhouse Kids provides classes for children aged 6 months to 12 years. Led by trained and background-checked team members, these classes incorporate teachings, games, and opportunities for children to connect with God and each other. Pastor Wes Dunn’s sermons are also available online, allowing the message of LIFEhouse Church to reach an even wider audience. This unified LIFEhouse Church stands as a testament to the power of community and shared faith.
