Established in 1879, Suita Municipal Kishibe First Elementary School stands as a testament to time. This school is a public elementary school in Suita, Osaka. In 2004 the school had about 300 students.

Suita Municipal Kishibe First Elementary School has undergone many changes. It began as Koderaguchi Elementary School. This split from Tendoji Elementary School on March 12, 1879. In 1895, a new school building was built. It was located in Oaza Koderaguchi, Kishibe Village, Mishima District. The school was renamed Kishibe Joto Elementary School. It moved to its current location on October 26, 1925.

A tragic event occurred on September 21, 1934. A violent storm killed 28 children. On October 21 of that year, a village funeral was held on the school grounds. In 1940, Kishibe Village merged with Suita City. The school was renamed Suita City Kishibe Joto Elementary School.

In 1941, the school became Suita City Kishibe National School. This name change reflected national policy. After the war in 1947, it became Suita Municipal Kishibe Elementary School. Parts of the school district were separated. This created Suita Municipal Suita East Elementary School in 1966. Another separation occurred in 1973. This led to Suita Municipal Kishibe Second Elementary School. The school celebrated its 100th anniversary on March 11, 1979.

Today, Suita Municipal Kishibe First Elementary School continues its mission. It strives to prevent bullying. The school ensures children can enjoy school life without worry. The school collaborates with families. Together, they address bullying. They foster an environment of thoughtful action in children.
