FPT Corporation began its journey in 1988. It started as The Food Processing Technology Company. Imagine that. From food processing to tech giant. In 1990, they refocused and rebranded. Around the same time, FPT and Microsoft signed a strategic alliance. They listed FPT stock on the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange in December 2006.
In 2008, the company officially became FPT Corporation. This name reflects its broader scope and ambition. FPT has operations in 63 provinces and cities across Vietnam. Its global footprint extends to 30 countries and territories. FPT Software consistently offers high-quality service. They have near shore, offshore and onsite delivery models.
FPT’s structure includes eight subsidiaries. These focus on software, IT services, and telecommunications. FPT also has interests in online services and education. They also have two affiliated companies.

FPT’s influence goes beyond Vietnam. In 2014, it acquired RWE IT Slovakia. This was the first time a Vietnamese IT company acquired a foreign counterpart. In 2018, FPT acquired a 90% stake in Intellinet Consulting in the US.
In 2023, FPT had a revenue of 52.617 trillion VND. The company’s total assets reached 60.282 trillion VND. Its total equity stood at 29.933 trillion VND. By the end of 2023, FPT employed 48,162 people.
In April 2024, FPT partnered with Nvidia. Together, they plan to build an AI factory. FPT is headquartered right here in Hanoi. Its main office is in the FPT Tower at 10 Pham Van Bach. This building is the center of FPT’s vast operations.
