Temple Beth Avodah stands proudly in Newton Massachusetts. Founded in 1963 a small group of families from South Newton created it. They sought a Reform Jewish synagogue a spiritual home. Their commitment to Reform Judaism was the foundation. They built a place where people could connect with Judaism. They envisioned a space for worship and education. Many of those original founders are still connected today. Their children and grandchildren remain members. The temple has grown. It now welcomes a diverse community.
