Finally in 1972 the new Lynn Vocational Technical Institute held its first graduation ceremony. 104 students received diplomas in the school cafetorium. Lynn Tech as it’s affectionately known offers seventeen technical areas. Freshmen explore all areas before choosing a career path. Three licensed trades offer students hours toward licensure. The school boasts co-op education and internships. Juniors and seniors gain valuable on-the-job training. This often leads to full-time employment upon graduation.
