The first section starts in Stotternheim. This is Erfurt’s northernmost district. It heads towards the Erfurter Seenlandschaft. Pass the Alperstedter See. Cycle through the Alperstedter Ried.
The second section stretches 22 km. It passes through the home of the rare black field hamster. Pass through Großrudestedt, Schwansee, Udestedt and Kleinmölsen. You will reach the Erfurt districts of Töttleben, Kerspleben and Vieselbach.
The third section runs from Vieselbach to Wallichen. It enters Weimarer Land. Explore half-timbered houses and monuments. These are in Niederzimmern, Utzberg, Sohnstedt, Eichelborn and Klettbach.
