Here stands the Sonate Sculpture. Have you ever considered how much art shapes Frankfurt? Frankfurt’s urban space is characterized by numerous works of art. You’ll find them in public spaces. More than 250 works of art were purchased or commissioned between 1960 and 1990. But some listed sculptures from the 18th and 19th centuries also exist. They are mostly in the Oder city’s parks.
Since the 1990s, more art has appeared. Regional and national artists created these works. They were made for the constantly changing urban space. You can find sculptures made of bronze, artificial stone, sandstone, or ceramics here. Wall designs and arts and crafts objects are also present.
The Sonate Sculpture is by Karl-Günter Möpert. You can see it in Frankfurt Oder. Specifically, it is located on Lindenstraße 7. The Sonate Sculpture exists as a physical sculpture.
Große Scharrnstraße shows a high point of public space decoration with art. This pedestrian zone alone holds 18 pieces of art across genres. Parks like Lennépark and the Oderpromenade feature figural sculptures. Even Neuberesinchen, despite deconstruction, has colorful sculptures. Erika Stürmer-Alex created these. Christian Roehl made the metal designs.
