Did the name Đại Lộc ever cross your path before? Nghĩa trang Giáo xứ Đại Lộc, right here, is more than just a cemetery. It’s a living testament to a community’s faith and resilience. Nghĩa trang Giáo xứ Đại Lộc began in 1954. Father Giuse Đoàn Kim Điển and about 600 parishioners arrived in Hố Nai. They established the Nghĩa trang Giáo xứ Đại Lộc. Imagine constructing the first church with brick and tile in just two years. This humble structure measured 12.5m x 30m. It served as the spiritual heart of Đại Lộc. Nghĩa trang Giáo xứ Đại Lộc witnessed significant growth under Father Gioan Baotixita Nguyễn Thanh Hài. He took over in 1976. He not only nurtured the faith but also oversaw the construction of a new church in 1982. This larger building, made of concrete and iron sheets, spanned 12.5m x 40m. This expansion reflected the growing needs of the community. Nghĩa trang Giáo xứ Đại Lộc continued to flourish. It became a cornerstone of the community. The church embraced both physical development and spiritual enrichment. In 2012, Father Phaolô Nguyễn Nguyễn arrived. He further strengthened the community bonds and fostered unity. Nghĩa trang Giáo xứ Đại Lộc celebrated a special moment on November 4, 2022. The community welcomed their new priest, Giuse Vũ Đức Hiệp. His arrival marked a new chapter in the story of Nghĩa trang Giáo xứ Đại Lộc.
