“Relief washes over you” I can hear someone whisper. This is Nh\u00e0 Th\u1edd T\u00e2n M\u1ef9. It stands not in the central districts of S\u00e0i G\u00f2n but still attracts many to prayer. This spacious church serves many people at once. Nh\u00e0 Th\u1edd T\u00e2n M\u1ef9 has unique features drawing devout worshipers from afar.
Nh\u00e0 Th\u1edd T\u00e2n M\u1ef9 was built in 1962. It began as a small prayer house in H\u00f3c M\u00f4n district. Catholic families resettled from the Qu\u00e1n Tre area laid the foundation. These residents missed their old church. They decided to build a small prayer house together. It was for their spiritual needs.
In 1963, a small congregation formed. It was recognized as T\u00e2n B\u00f9i parish by B\u00f9i M\u00f4n Parish. In 1967, Father Phaol\u00f4 \u0110\u1ed7 Kim Phan was appointed. He and the parishioners started building a solemn church.
On June 7, 1970, T\u00e2n B\u00f9i parish separated from B\u00f9i M\u00f4n Parish. It was renamed T\u00e2n M\u1ef9 Parish. On March 19, 1971, it was dedicated to Saint Joseph. The council bought land for a riêng cemetery.
From 1977 to 1978, Nh\u00e0 Th\u1edd T\u00e2n M\u1ef9 lacked a supervising priest. This was due to historical events. Since 1978, many priests have managed this sacred church.
Nh\u00e0 Th\u1edd T\u00e2n M\u1ef9 is well-organized. It is managed by qualified priests. The church has three main zones. They are Th\u00e1nh T\u1eed \u0110\u1ea1o Vi\u1ec7t Nam, Th\u00e1nh Ph\u00ear\u00f4, and \u0110\u1ee9c M\u1eb9 V\u00f4 Nhi\u1ec5m. Each zone has different tasks assigned by the priests.
The parish has a standing office. It is called the council. Four priests are responsible for welcoming parishioners. They help resolve related issues. Nh\u00e0 Th\u1edd T\u00e2n M\u1ef9 has seven committees. These committees handle different tasks. They include order, festivals, services, religion, family, construction, and cemetery.
There are three choirs in Nh\u00e0 Th\u1edd T\u00e2n M\u1ef9. They perform at ceremonies and events. Six associations actively operate. These include the Sacred Heart Association and the Dominicans. There is also the Legion of Mary.
Twelve catechism classes teach 300 children. Nuns and thirty lay teachers instruct them. The parish priest teaches marriage classes.
Nh\u00e0 Th\u1edd T\u00e2n M\u1ef9 is on National Route 22. It is in khu 18 \u1ea5p M\u1ef9 H\u00f2a, X\u00e3 Xu\u00e2n Th\u1edbi \u0110\u00f4ng, H\u00f3c M\u00f4n district. It is about 500m from the Trung Ch\u00e1nh intersection.
Nh\u00e0 Th\u1edd T\u00e2n M\u1ef9 holds Mass from Monday to Sunday. The times vary. From Monday to Saturday, Mass is at 5:00 and 17:30. On Saturdays and Sundays, Mass is at 5:00, 7:00, and 18:00.
Dress modestly when visiting Nh\u00e0 Th\u1edd T\u00e2n M\u1ef9. Men can wear trousers and shirts. Women can wear áo dài or trousers and shirts.
Nh\u00e0 Th\u1edd T\u00e2n M\u1ef9 is a unique architectural complex. It hosts religious activities. These activities attract many visitors.
