This innovative project showcases two towers reaching for the sky, one at 190 meters and the other at 150 meters. They boast an impressive display of 2,640 trees and 27,600 shrubs. These plants aren’t just for show. They play a vital role in improving the urban environment by absorbing fine dust particles, regulating the microclimate, and even reducing the greenhouse effect. The Vertical Garden also incorporates a clever system of greenhouses and hydroponic gardens. This further enhances its sustainability and contribution to the urban ecosystem. The project addresses the challenges of water management in an arid climate like Dubai. It utilizes desalination processes and recovers grey water to maximize water efficiency. Photovoltaic surfaces generate 5,100 kWh of clean energy, stored in hydrogen batteries. This energy powers the building’s water cycle, further minimizing its environmental impact. The Vertical Garden at Dubai isn’t just about greenery; it’s a symbol of harmonious coexistence between nature and urban development.
