Services moved to the Women’s Club House on Grand Avenue and Broadway. As its congregation grew Emmanuel Faith Community Church relocated again to a new property at 7th and Maple in Escondido. This wasn’t just a move it was a testament to the church’s expanding influence. The church family continued its expansion. In 1971 a groundbreaking ceremony marked the start of construction on its current campus in Escondido. Pastor Coy Maret who led the church from 1944 to 1971 took part in this pivotal moment.
