“Classroom Building 1, a hub of activity, how many students have passed through its doors?”

Welcome to Classroom Building 1. It is located on the NIST International School campus. The campus is in the heart of Bangkok’s busy business district. NIST is minutes from the Asok BTS skytrain and Sukhumvit MRT subway stations. The 25-rai campus includes ten buildings. They house over 90 classrooms. They also have state-of-the-art facilities.

Classroom Building 1 is part of a larger plan. This plan aims to meet the community’s future needs. It considers learning spaces and health. Safety and security are also important. The plan also looks at creating greater efficiencies. The campus redesign is extensive. It is the largest series of renovation and building projects in the school’s history. These projects will provide facilities for ongoing success in the future.

NIST’s location is a major attraction for families. The campus development plan increases the height of some buildings. It uses the footprint more effectively. They embrace new technologies. They use modern engineering. This gives them flexible multi-purpose rooms and rooftop spaces. Elevated foot bridges connect buildings. They also have additional community spaces.

NIST is creating a vibrant learning environment. This environment is health-focused and sustainable. They are working with Bangkok’s Big Trees Project. Together they will create an oasis of learning. It will be in one of the world’s busiest cities. The Big Trees Project helps them reach their green space goals. They preserve and protect indigenous trees on campus. They plan to add more trees. They also want green play spaces and rooftop greenery in the future.

The new Innovation Building houses the Black Box Theatre. It also contains drama studios and World Language classrooms. There are also purpose-built Elementary Buildings. A new Pavilion Building welcomes the school community.

Phase 3 will realize the potential of new buildings. It will create learning spaces. These spaces will enrich and challenge students. NIST has historic and philanthropic roots. The new building plan offers opportunities. Community members can contribute to the school. They can offer financial support and naming rights.

NIST employs over 500 educators. They have experienced administrators and dedicated staff. They work as a team. They provide a world-class education for students. Each year, students excel in IB exams. They post scores above global averages. They often lead other schools in the region.

Classroom Building 1 is one of the buildings on the campus that makes NIST so special. It is a place for learning and growth. It is also a place where students can thrive.
