For years Norton Memorial Temple has been a cornerstone of the Houston community. Its mission is clear: to exalt Jesus Christ evangelize the world edify believers and equip saints for ministry. Pastor and Lady Hill lead this congregation. They strive to transform lives. They do this through their words and deeds.
Sundays are bustling with activity. The day begins with an 8 am Facebook Live service. This is followed by Sunday school at 9 am and then in-person worship at 10 am. But the church’s activity extends far beyond Sundays.
Tuesdays are dedicated to prayer and Bible study. Intercessory prayer begins at 9 am followed by Bible Band. Appointments with Pastor Hill are available from 11 am to 12:30 pm. Wednesdays feature a 5:30 pm Bible study conference call. Fasting takes place on Tuesdays and Fridays. This is a time for reflection and prayer.
Online prayer meetings supplement the in-person services. There are Pastoral prayers Tuesday through Thursday. Membership prayer meetings are held Monday Wednesday and Friday. Women’s prayer is led by Mother Shirley Little on Thursdays at noon. Tithing and offerings can be given via PayPal or CashApp.
