Established in 1975 Toyonaka Kita-jo Elementary School stands proudly. It wasn’t always here though. This wasn’t its first home. Before its current location Kita-jo was a branch of Komaibashi Elementary School. The rapid increase in the number of children in the area necessitated a new school. Construction began in 1974. The school officially opened its doors on April 1 1975. Students from grades two through five transferred from Komaibashi.
The Toyonaka Kita-jo Elementary School’s founding anniversary is June 9th 1975. That’s when the school officially established its rules and regulations. It was a significant milestone.
