What secrets does Pujiang hold? Pujiang County, nestled near Chengdu, is more than just a dot on the map. It’s a place where time whispers stories of ancient kingdoms and bustling trade. Pujiang is under the administration of Chengdu. This seemingly quiet county holds a vibrant past, dating back to the 4th century BC when the Qin Kingdom incorporated the Shu Kingdom and established Puyang county. Pujiang has seen its name change and its location shift over centuries. It moved from Lixudi in the north to its current location in Heshan town. It fell under the governance of Qiongzhou, Meishan, Wenjiang, and finally, in 1983, Chengdu. Today, Pujiang County governs two streets and six towns, including Heshan and Shouan subdistricts.
