What if I told you about a church born from humble beginnings, nurtured by faith, and dedicated to raising leaders? That’s the story of Faith Chapel Foursquare Gospel Church. This church began in the home of the late Paul Brewer. A group of believers approached Pastor Ronald Yohe to lead them.
Sixteen years later, Faith Chapel Church merged with River Bend. Jonathan Rodkin and Dr. David Robinson led this union. At that time, Pastor Josh served the youth under Pastor Yohe.
The church faced a difficult time when Pastor Yohe passed away in 2016. Pastor Josh stepped up to lead. He had the chance to build on a strong foundation.
In 2019, Olivia Metzger joined Faith Chapel as an intern. She worked with the youth. After graduating from CFNI in 2020, she became their youth director.
In 2021, Faith Chapel Church moved to Joy. They continue their mission of making disciples. They focus on raising up leaders.
Faith Chapel Church is a non-denominational church. It is dedicated to discipling people. They mentor and coach in Christian living and faith.
Faith Chapel believes in the Scriptures. Both Old and New Testaments are inspired by God. It is their infallible guide for faith and conduct.
They believe Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin. He lived a sinless life. He performed miracles and died for our sins. He rose from the dead and sits at God’s right hand.
Faith Chapel teaches that man’s only hope is through Jesus’ blood. God exists as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. They are distinct but one.
Man was created good but fell through sin. His hope is in Jesus Christ. Baptism by immersion symbolizes our death and resurrection with Christ. It shows our new life.
The Lord’s Supper uses bread and wine. It reminds them of Jesus’ sacrifice. It looks forward to His return.
Faith Chapel believes believers should seek the Holy Spirit. This brings power and spiritual gifts. Speaking in tongues is evidence of this baptism. Sanctification separates us from evil. It dedicates us to God.
The church is Christ’s body. It fulfills God’s mission. Each believer is part of this assembly. Divine healing is part of the Gospel. It is available to all believers.
The resurrection of those in Christ is coming. The second coming includes the rapture and Christ’s return to reign. There will be a final judgment. Those not in the Book of Life will face punishment.
