It is located on Pazhou Island in Guangzhou. This complex isn’t just big; it’s possibly the largest convention center in the world.
Formerly, the Canton Fair Complex was known as the Guangzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center. This place is vast. It covers an area of over 12 million square feet. That includes the world’s largest exhibition hall. It alone measures over 1.7 million square feet.

Getting here is relatively easy. Many visitors fly into Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport. From there, you can take the metro. Taxis are readily available too. The Guangzhou Airport Express even provides a direct shuttle bus during the Canton Fair.
The metro offers an efficient route. Take Line 3 to Tiyu Xi Station. Then, transfer to Line 8. Get off at Xingang Dong Station for Area A or Pazhou Station for Areas B and C. The journey takes about 43 minutes.
Taxis are another option. Just tell the driver “Pa Zhou” or “Canton Fair”. Shuttle buses run every 30 minutes during the fair. They operate between 1 PM and 6 PM. The bus trip takes about 50 minutes.
Inside the Canton Fair Complex, you will find extensive amenities. There is Internet access and luggage storage. Onsite catering is available. Paid parking is also an option.
The complex is divided into different areas. Area A features 130,000 square meters of indoor exhibition space. It also has 30,000 square meters of outdoor space. Area B offers 128,000 square meters indoors and 13,600 square meters outdoors. Area C has 80,000 square meters of indoor exhibition area.
