Let’s talk about closing gaps. The Close the Gap, Open your Future mural stands before us. It’s more than just paint on a wall. It embodies a vision.

This mural in Milan sends a powerful message. It speaks to the urgent need for equality. We must eliminate the gaps that divide us. This creates a more inclusive society for everyone.

Giulio Gebbia aka Rosk created this striking piece. He is one of the most prolific street artists of his generation. Fastweb supported his vision. They wanted to promote a better future for all.

Look closely. You will see a boy and a girl pushing walls. These walls seem immovable. Yet they strive to reduce the distance between them. The mural interacts with its surroundings. It is near the Library of Trees. Children’s voices fill this space every day. It’s a symbol of hope for the future.

The Close the Gap, Open your Future mural is environmentally conscious. Rosk used Airlite. This special paint purifies the air. It’s 100% mineral and VOC-free. Airlite is covered by five international patents. It has also received over 25 international awards.

This mural covers 200 square meters. That much Airlite removes pollutants. Specifically, it reduces nitrogen oxides. It’s like planting 200 square meters of forest. In its first month, it absorbed about 9,512 grams of CO2. This is equivalent to removing the smog from almost 43 Euro 6 gasoline cars each day.

The mural’s location is significant. Via De Castillia 20 connects two neighborhoods. It bridges Isola and Porta Nuova. This area symbolizes Milan’s urban transformation. The Library of Trees adds to this. It features 95000 square meters. Over 500 trees thrive there. Thousands of plants representing over 100 species also flourish. The Library offers sports areas and children’s games. It is Milan’s third-largest park.

Pierfrancesco Maran comments on Milan’s transformation. He is the city’s councilor for Housing and Neighborhood Plan. He notes the structural and cultural changes. This mural draws attention to the city’s challenge. It’s about uniting different worlds. Reducing inequalities is key. We must create opportunities for everyone.

Alberto Calcagno is the CEO of Fastweb. He is proud to give Milan this artwork. It speaks a universal language. It reflects Fastweb’s vision. They strive to build a future that closes gaps. They work to advance digital transformation. This goes beyond technology. It includes opportunities, skills, and gender equality. It helps create a more inclusive and sustainable world.

Rosk’s style is unmistakable. It blends hyper-realism and dreamlike elements. His works appear on walls worldwide. He has worked with major brands. These include Gucci, Ceres, and Axa assicurazioni. He has also created iconic works in Italy.

The Close the Gap, Open your Future mural delivers its message online too. A QR code is painted on the wall. Scan it. This takes you to a digital platform. There, you will find more about the project.

Luca Pacitto is Head of Brand & Communication at Fastweb. He says they chose street art. It’s an innovative communication form. Its impact raises awareness. We must bridge the gaps. We also promote environmental respect. Fastweb aims for a more connected future. It must be inclusive and sustainable.

This Close the Gap, Open your Future mural is more than art. It is a call to action. It urges us to build a better world for all.
