The temple’s architecture is quite unique. Its ordination hall is small. Its design reflects the Mon style a distinct architectural tradition. The hall faces east featuring a single door and no windows. Locals call it a mhaaud. Inside sits Luang Phor Petch the principal Buddha image. This revered statue sits in the posture of meditation.

For many years Wat Pak Nam Fang Nuea was inaccessible by car. This changed in 2004. The Wat Pak Nam Wittayakom School now Princess Ubolratana Rajakanya’s College opened a passage. This allowed cars access to the temple for the first time.

In 2023 the Fine Arts Department officially recognized the temple’s historical significance. They listed it as a registered ancient monument. This designation protects its legacy ensures its preservation for future generations.
