Did you know the House of Deliverance Holiness Church started humbly? It wasn’t always the building you see before you. In 1976 it began as House Services. Saints met in homes for prayer and services. Many souls were saved. The home meetings grew too small. In 1983 they rented space from another church. God’s work was expanding. Their ministry helped build His kingdom. They moved to a storefront in 1984. They praised and worshipped in that small space. It felt like a great cathedral. Soon they needed more room. In 1985 they moved to 627 Opelousas Avenue. More souls joined their ministry. God continued to reveal His plans. The House of Deliverance Church was incorporated in 1986. In 1989 they moved to their current location 732 Opelousas Avenue. They renovated and remodeled the building. Strangers helped them finish. God provided in amazing ways. The House of Deliverance Holiness Church stands as a testament to faith perseverance and God’s provision. It’s a place where deliverance is only the beginning. This small congregation welcomes all who seek a deeper relationship with God. Their journey reflects a long and beautiful history. It shows God’s continuous work and blessing. It’s a story of growth. A story of faith. A story you can now experience firsthand.
