It’s a place where scientists have been carefully monitoring the water for decades. Since 1976, the United States Geological Survey has been keeping a close eye on Woodall Creek. They’re measuring everything from how fast the water flows to what’s dissolved in it. This data helps us understand how the creek is doing and how human activities might be affecting it. We can see how weather patterns, like droughts or heavy rain, change the creek’s flow. Even more importantly, the data reveals the levels of pollutants over time, giving us valuable insights into the health of our environment.
