Beneath the tropical sun of Batam, Masjid Al Ikhwan stands as a testament to community and faith. Masjid Al Ikhwan isn’t just a place of worship. It’s a vibrant hub woven into the fabric of the Sagulung community. Established in the year 2000, Masjid Al Ikhwan has witnessed the growth and evolution of this area. The mosque sits on a 400 square meter plot of land, generously donated as Wakaf, a charitable endowment in Islamic tradition. The building itself occupies 100 square meters of this land. Masjid Al Ikhwan has been serving the community for over two decades. It’s a place where the faithful gather not just for prayer, but also for important events and community gatherings. The mosque is managed by a dedicated team of two individuals. There is one Imam to lead the prayers and another individual serving as the Khatib, delivering sermons and religious teachings. Imagine the echoes of prayers resonating within its walls, five times a day, every single day. Masjid Al Ikhwan isn’t just a structure. It’s a living, breathing entity. It’s the heart of this neighborhood.
