Starting in 1992 at the smaller Sam Boyd Stadium, it initially hosted champions from the Big West and Mid-American Conferences. The Bowl Step, now within the grandeur of Allegiant Stadium, has seen its share of thrilling games. Remember the 1995 game? It was the first overtime game in Division I-A college football history! Toledo edged out Nevada 40-37. The Bowl Step, part of the larger stadium experience, has witnessed crucial moments like these. Over the years, the Las Vegas Bowl changed venues and conference affiliations. It moved to Allegiant Stadium in 2021, a significant upgrade from Sam Boyd. The Bowl Step is part of this modern marvel.
