Villa Boscogrande represents the transition from Baroque to Neoclassical architecture. The Duke of Montalbo had it built in the late 1700s. It was initially named Villa Montalbo. Later Felicia Montalbo married a Boscogrande. The villa then took the name Villa Boscogrande.
