The Nakanoshima Center Building is located in the Nakanoshima district. This area lies at the western edge of Nakanoshima. The building is surrounded by the Dojima and Tosabori rivers. This area is known as Osaka’s symbol island.
Did you know the Nakanoshima Center Building was once the tallest in Osaka? It held this title until 1979. The Osaka Ekimae Dai-3 Building then surpassed it.
The Nakanoshima Center Building is more than just offices. It includes the Hotel NCB. The NCB Kaikan offers banquet and party facilities. A medical floor provides medical services. You can even find a post office. The basement hosts a shopping street. All these amenities make it a mixed-use office building.
The Nakanoshima Center Building boasts impressive statistics. It has 32 floors above ground. It has three underground floors. The tower has one additional level. The building reaches a height of 129 meters. Its total floor area spans approximately 74,236 square meters. Construction began in 1972. It was completed in February 1975.

Getting here is easy. You can take the JR Osaka Station. From there, take the city bus. Get off at the “Funatsubashi” stop. Alternatively, take the subway to Awaza Station. From there, it is a seven-minute walk. You can also take the Keihan Electric Railway to Nakanoshima Station. The building is a three-minute walk from there.
