Established in 1966, the Evangelical Church of Bangkok stands before us as a testament to faith across borders. Originally a missionary outpost of the Christian and Missionary Alliance, the Evangelical Church of Bangkok blossomed into a vibrant international community. The church welcomes people from over 40 countries and various denominational backgrounds. This modernist style building isn’t just a place of worship. It’s a hub of activity, housing a fellowship area, classrooms for children’s ministry and Bible study, and even apartments for pastoral families. The church’s 30 full-time staff members, including four pastors, are supported by a dedicated network of hundreds of volunteers. In 2023 alone, the Evangelical Church of Bangkok operated with an income of 41.29 million Thai baht, all generated from the generosity of gifts and donations. Beyond Sunday services, the Evangelical Church of Bangkok pulsates with life. Men’s and women’s ministries, children’s programs, and a young professionals’ group create a sense of belonging. Biblical education classes and outreach initiatives further extend the church’s impact into the surrounding community. The Evangelical Church of Bangkok is more than just a building. It’s a vibrant tapestry woven from diverse threads of faith, united by a shared belief and a common purpose.
