Hillcrest High School opened in 1971. Its original mascot was the Brave. Later it changed to the hawk. The school colours are violet and gray. These colours represent the school’s spirit. The colours reflect the school’s rich history.
Principal Stephen M Duch led the school from 1996 to 2014. David T Morrison a Hillcrest graduate succeeded him. He served as the school’s AP of English. Hillcrest boasts a remarkable list of alumni.
