District Elder Samuel Alan Burroughs, Sr. became the sixth pastor in November 2020. He brought a wealth of experience. He was born and raised in Boston. District Elder Burroughs holds degrees in Pastoral Ministry and Music. He is also the founding pastor of Outpouring Worship & Life Center in Upper Marlboro, Maryland.
He followed in the footsteps of his father, Bishop William, and Evangelist Margaret Burroughs. Together with his wife, Merilyn Tyson Burroughs, he is engaged in the Mission of God.
Emmanuel Pentecostal Temple offers several weekly services. Sunday School is currently virtual. Contact the church for Zoom access information. The worship gathering happens on Sundays at 11:30 am.
