These include Monarch Gallery in La Jolla and James Gray Gallery in Santa Monica. Also, her art was shown at the Orange County’s Center for Contemporary Art. You could see her art at the Merwin and Wakeley Gallery, as well as the Andrew Bae Gallery in Chicago. The Detroit Artists’ Market and the Gallery Project in Ann Arbor displayed her work. Even the Fort Wayne Museum of Art and Grand Rapids Museum of Art have showcased her talent.
Her works have been acquired by many private art collectors. Museums around the world also display her art. Steve Wynn in Las Vegas and the Grand Rapids Museum of Art in Michigan have her pieces. Lutheran Hospital in Indiana and the McDonough Museum of Art in Ohio collect her art.
Mee Shim has received fellowships and residencies. The Vermont Studio Center and Anderson Ranch Arts Center supported her work. Her art was even selected for the Art Exhibition for the 12th World Championship in Athletics in Berlin, Germany in 2009.
