For six years the congregation met in a private residence. Then in 2010 they purchased their own property at 104-22 114th Street Richmond Hill NY 11419. The new Satya Sanatan Dharma Mandir opened its doors on December 14 2010. This was a significant milestone a moment of collective joy and celebration.
The SDMNY is more than just a place of worship. It’s a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. This means all donations are tax deductible. The mandir actively promotes the teachings of Sanaatan Vedic Dharma. It draws upon the Vedas Mahabharata Puranas and other Hindu scriptures. The Satya Sanatan Dharma Mandir strives to uplift both individuals and the Hindu community as a whole.

Sharda Persaud is Assistant Organizing Secretary. These individuals along with other trustees work tirelessly to ensure the smooth operation of the mandir.
