Isn’t it comforting to know there’s a place where exhausted people can exhale? That place is HisPlace Family Church. HisPlace Family Church is more than just a church. It is a family. Here, people worship and pray together. They also serve the community. Many say it feels like home.

HisPlace Family Church started with only six people. These six people were passionate about God. They wanted to meet needs and help people. The first service was on June 5, 1994. It was held at the Hotel Sofitel in North Houston. This area was then known as Greenspoint.

The church spent its first six years doing apartment complex ministry. It also ran a bus ministry and a youth center. For eight years, HisPlace moved between six locations. In 2001, God led the church to Spring, Texas. This helped them serve the Spring, Klein, and Tomball communities. God provided land and a building. This building was renovated to meet community needs.

Doug and Kim Bartsch lead HisPlace Family Church. Doug’s business background mixes with his love for God. This results in a practical approach to ministry. Both Doug and Kim trained at Lakewood Church. They learned from John Osteen. They have been married since 1987. They have two children, Spencer and Bailey.

HisPlace focuses on restoring individuals, marriages, and families. Doug and Kim communicate Bible truths in a fun, practical way. This helps people take steps in their spiritual journey. They love serving the Spring, Klein, and Tomball areas.

Each Sunday, HisPlace Family Church meets at 10:00 AM. Services are about 65 to 70 minutes long. You will find a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. The worship music is exciting. Message notes are online. A large screen shows Bible verses. The pastor speaks in person.

HisPlace offers a dynamic children’s ministry called HISkids. This is for children aged six weeks through 5th grade. They also offer small groups for students. These groups are for junior high and high school students.

HisPlace Family Church is a non denominational church. It helps launch churches. It is part of the Association of Related Churches.
