The church’s story began in 1961. Elder R. B. Williams founded Holy Ghost Headquarters. He started it on the second floor of this very building. Williams found inspiration in Matthew 16:18. The verse declares, “Upon this rock I will build my church”.
Today, Senior Pastor Geraldine Brewington oversees the Holy Ghost Headquarters. She joined the church in the mid-1960s. At that time, she didn’t know her future role. The church has grown significantly under her leadership. It expanded from a small fellowship to include ministries abroad.
Holy Ghost Headquarters has several initiatives. Mt. Ararat Fellowship and Worship Center is their retreat location. It is in Northeastern Pennsylvania. The Harvest of Souls & Food Pantry Program feeds the less fortunate. They have several community efforts that show the love of Jesus Christ.
Holy Ghost Headquarters offers many services. Sunday School starts at 9:15 am. Corporate Prayer is at 11:00 am. The Worship Service begins at 11:30 am.
