Established in 1964 as part of the Faculty of Medicine this institution quickly carved its own path. It became an independent Faculty of Pharmacy in 1972. This made it the second oldest Pharmacy Faculty in Thailand a significant milestone. Even more impressive it was the first pharmacy faculty outside Bangkok a testament to its pioneering spirit.

Nestled on Suthep Road about 5 kilometers from Chiang Mai’s vibrant city center the Faculty of Pharmacy enjoys a serene location. It’s just 2 kilometers from the main university campus. More than 319 students have completed postgraduate programs. These programs are in diverse areas such as pharmaceutical science clinical pharmacy public health biotechnology and nanosciences.
