Have you ever felt a sense of community that was so strong, it felt like it was woven into the very fabric of the neighborhood? Champions Forest – North Klein is precisely that kind of place in Houston, Texas. The church is bustling, and although it’s not the original building that was built in 1970, it still has a very warm heart and a generous spirit. The original building was a small one, but the church was incredibly successful. This area was growing exponentially, and its congregation grew alongside it. By 1979, the church had expanded to a new, larger building on Champions Forest Drive. Years later, the church’s dedication to its community and its growing congregation made it necessary to move again. In 1991, the current location on Spring Stuebner Road was purchased. 54 acres of land meant that Champions Forest could build a more expansive structure that matched its ambitious goals. As the church progressed, so did its commitment to serving the community, with initiatives ranging from church planting in multiple locations to providing a variety of services in six different languages. Today, this welcoming church still carries the same sense of community and purpose, offering a sanctuary and support system that is just as impactful as it was decades ago.
