Schule Brockdorffstraße opened its doors in 1956. A new building a bright hope after the war. The designs came from Hamburg’s building authority. Paul Seitz led the team of architects. The school grounds are vast approximately 25000 square meters. It sits south of Brockdorffstraße between Liliencronstraße and Jasper-Pentz-Straße. The address is Brockdorffstraße 64. Over the years Schule Brockdorffstraße has grown. A new cafeteria was built in 2013. It cost 900000 Euros. The renovation between 2013 and 2017 expanded the school significantly adding 1100 square meters of usable space. By 2019 there was an administration building a break building three classroom buildings and a sports hall. The sports hall known as the Seitzhalle was built in 1960.
