The United Nations Association of San Diego, UNA-USA San Diego, acts as a local conduit for the UN’s global mission. This chapter, founded in 1946, strives to bring the UN’s work home, focusing on education and advocacy related to the environment and other critical issues. UNA-USA San Diego translates global initiatives into local action. They work to raise awareness about the UN’s impact and its influence on policies right here in our community. The chapter fosters dialogue and collaboration, connecting individuals, NGOs, and businesses to support the UN’s sustainable development goals. They even have a Youth Advisory Board to ensure younger generations have a voice in shaping a sustainable future.
