Nain Feto’s administrative center is Gricenfor. In 2004, the population was 18693. By 2015, it had grown to 32834. That is a density of 5400 people per square kilometer. Nain Feto covers only 6.1 square kilometers. You can imagine how densely populated it is.
Nain Feto includes several sucos. These are Acadiru Hun, Bemori, Bidau Lecidere, Gricenfor, Lahane Oriental, and Santa Cruz. These areas contribute to Nain Feto’s vibrant community. Each suco has its unique character.
In the past, land issues were complex here. In 2023, the Ministry of Justice launched a Land Map for Nain Feto and Vera Cruz. This map included 15 areas. The Land Map aimed to resolve land disputes. It promoted accuracy in land information. Local authorities cooperated to provide data. This cooperation ensured the map’s reliability.
The Director of Land and Property highlighted some numbers. He said that the Dili district has 31969 parcels of land. This number excludes Atauro and Metinaro sub-districts. This gives you an idea of how much land there is to manage here.
